Arts & Culture Festival at DBK in Kandel

**Life is returning to the old DBK Oven Systems factory in Kandel**: The arts & culture festival "Kandel im Prozess" will take place in the disused halls of the former DBK Oven Systems from September 8th to September 17th, 2023.

Program

DBK David + Baader GmbH has always been closely associated with art. Josef David Junior, son of the company founder, was a lover of art and culture and established the Josef David Foundation. To this day, the foundation supports regional, cross-border projects in the Pamina region in the fields of education, culture, and social affairs.

The "Kandel im Prozess" event offers a stage to artists from Kandel, the Palatinate, Alsace, and Karlsruhe. More than 50 artists, including 13 from France, present their work in the exhibition. The show includes paintings and sculptures and features professional and citizen art. The festival promotes a balanced participation of women and men and young and established artists.

The festival is financially supported by the Josef David Foundation, the "Kultursommer Rheinland-Pfalz," Sparkasse Südpfalz, VR-Bank Südpfalz, as well as Maximilian David, and the city of Kandel and is free of charge.
